This page describes the connected local website and identifies matters requiring confirmation before publication. It is not an approved production policy or a compliance certification.
Current public website
The connected local website saves consultation inquiries for authenticated staff review. Inquiry contact details and descriptions are encrypted in the database. Public forms are intended for general inquiries only and do not accept document uploads or process payments. Client Access links to the invitation-only CRM login.
Production safeguards
Hosting security, HTTPS configuration, access controls, email handling, logging, retention, backups and incident response require production validation. The local client portal requires an invited account and the existing authentication checks. Local validation does not certify the production server or security program.
Internal security program
Tax preparation firms are included in the FTC Safeguards Rule’s examples of covered financial institutions. Applicable obligations must be addressed through an implemented information security program, appropriate oversight and documented procedures. A public statement is not a substitute for that program.
